Macadamia Nut Pollination

The first 6 hives placed at a Macadamia Nut Plantation.
Studies Show that the Macadamia Crop Yield is said to improve by between 90 & 100% when pollinated by dedicated Bee Hives placed in the orchard.
Source: (RIRDC Pub. No. 10-081, August 2010)

Dedicated bee feeders are also required to improve the production of pollen collection by the bees. A task requiring regular monitoring.

We are able to assist with setting up pollination hives for your crops in the Queensland and Northern NSW regions. For more information read more Here

Hot Gold Coast Weather Sends Bees Swarming

With Temperatures up around 34°C and no rain for the last week, the bees have taken up to swarming for cooler accomodation.
We have had to collect up to three swarms a day.
Call outs for swarms nesting in walls has also been on the rise so the bees have been keeping us very busy lately.
